PainterNearMe.org publishes contractor records sourced from official state contractor licensing board databases. This data is a matter of public record and includes: business name, license number, license status, license type, issue and expiration dates, bond and insurance status, entity type, owner name (as listed on the license), business phone number, and business address.
We do not publish residential mailing addresses. When a state board record contains only a residential or PO Box address, we omit the address field from the published profile.
All contractor data is obtained directly from state contractor licensing board public records databases, including but not limited to: Utah DOPL, California CSLB, Washington L&I, Florida DBPR, and other state licensing authorities. We refresh this data periodically (at minimum annually per state).
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data including page views, session duration, and general geographic region. We do not collect personally identifiable information from visitors. We do not sell visitor data to third parties.
Contact forms and removal requests collect the information you provide (name, email, business details) solely to fulfill your request. This data is stored securely and not shared with third parties except as required by law.
If you are a California resident whose personal information appears on this site, you have the right to request deletion of that information. To exercise this right, use our listing removal form. We will process your request within 45 days. Once processed, your profile will be permanently suppressed and will not be re-imported from licensing board data.
Any person or business listed in our directory may request removal at any time using our removal request form. We process all removal requests within 45 days regardless of state of residence. Note that removal from PainterNearMe.org does not remove your records from the state licensing board — contact your state authority directly for those changes.
